When you hire me, you can be assured that you will be working with someone who understands your needs and will treat you, your staff, or your family and your family with respect.  Because of my knowledge and experience, I will make suggestions and recommendations, but  I understand that you are in charge.

After getting a Bachelor of Architecture degree from the University of Kentucky, I went on to get a Master's degree in Urban and Regional Development. I then embarked on a thirty-year career in Kentucky and Georgia designing accessible single and multifamily housing. I was there in the 90s when universal design was created and popularized. I worked with people with mental and physical disabilities to design and create housing that was accessible, affordable, and non-stigmatizing because it was integrated into the community.

For several years i have served as a consultant to the state of Kentucky helping to implement a statewide program which funds residential accessibility modifications for people with significant mobility impairments.

During my long career I have participated in numerous trainings and courses in accessibility, universal design, the Americans with Disabilities Act, energy conservation, and Green Building practices.

I will use all my education and experience to make your project the best it can be.

Caring can ensure the success of any remodeling effort. I believe in partnership and trust and work with you to create a great living or working environment..
